There Are Bears In These Woods

Jokin aika sitten tein tämän huivin turkoosista Samoksesta kaverille synttärilahjaksi. Lankaa jäi silloin yli, ja päätin eilen tehdä asialle jotain. Se "jotain" onkin sitten karhu tämän ohjeen ansiosta. Ja koska en henkilökohtasesti ole ton värin ylin ystävä, menee tuo nalle samalle kaverille kelle huivi meni

Siitä nallukasta tuli miun mielestä niin hieno, että piti tehä toinenkin. Lisäsin pinkille nallelle pikku masun. Masun tein virkkaamalla lankalenkkiin 8ks, ja seuraavalla kierroksella vielä 2ks jokaiseen ks:ään, (yhteensä 16ks). Saattaa hyvinkin olla että tuo pinkki nalle ei saa uutta kotia...

Turkoosista samoksesta tein myös mustekalan. Käytin siihen (taas) tätä ohjetta. En oo kyllä täysin tyytyväinen tuohon lopputulokseen.

A while back I made this scarf from turquoise Samos-yarn for a friend of mine for her birthday. I had some yarn left over, so I decided to do something with it. Thanks to this pattern that "something" turned out to be a bear. 'Cos personally I'm not the biggest fan of the color the teddy goes to that same friend I made the scarf for.

I loved the way the teddy turned out, so I had to make another. I made the pink one a little tummy too. I made the tummy by crocheting 8sc:s to a yarn loop, then the next round 2sc:s in each of the sc:s (all together 16sc:s). I have a strong suspicion that the pink bear wont get a new home...

From the turqoise Samos I also made an octo. I used this pattern (again). I'm not a 100% satisfied with the way it turned out.
