mice!!

Vihdoinkin sain aikaiseksi tehä jotakin tänä vuonna. Virkkasin kaksi söpöstä hiirtä. Niistä tuli todella loistavia, eikä mennyt kuin vaja tunti/hiiri, ja vielä olivat helppojakin tehdä.

Tietenkin piti tehdä kaksi, ettei toiselle tule yksinäistä. Ja pariskunta sai tehtäväkseen vartioida miun cd-levyjä

I finally got around to making something. I crocheted two very cute mice. They came out great, and only took less than an hour per mouse + they were really easy to make.

Of course I had to make two, so the other one wouldn't get lonely. And now they both got a job keeping an eye on my cd's.

En tosiaan tiiä miksi, mutta meinasi uuden vuoden tienoilla loppua täysin inspiraatio ja jaksaminen käsitöihin. Tein viime vuonna käsitöitä aika paljon, ja itseasiassa viime helmikuussa tapahtui tää miun "herääminen" näihin juttuihin. Heti kun sain näinkin pienen työn, kuin nämä hiiret tehtyä, niin mieliala parani ja alkoi taas käsityöt kiinnostaa. Ehkä mie vaan tarvitsin parin viikon tauon.

I don't know why, but around new years I sort of lost the inspiration and energy to do crafts. I did a lot of crafts last year, actually last february was the month I experienced something of a "craft-awakening". But as soon as I got these little guys done, even if they were just a small project, I got in a better mood and got back my intrest in crafts. Maybe I just needed a two week break.
