Tough Lace

Tough lace = camo + lace. Simple really
I sewed a totebag out of a camo print fabric I had in my stash, and I crocheted three little doilies (one is on the other side) to give it a little something-something. And I kinda like it! I think the camo-print of this fabric is not perfect, it's a bit too yellow but I can live with it. So this is now my new shopping/grocerie tote
Lace close-up
Here's a close-up on the crocheted doily thingy. I used a pattern from winter 2007 issue of Novita Magazine. I made it with a 3mm hook and Lyric yarn.

That's a cute bag - I've got some camo fabric in my stash - so I think I'll make one too.

Thanks for the idea!
