Whip It Goooood

Miullakin on nyt sitten tuo kirja. Hurraa domiknitrixille! Aivan loistava kirja: paljon hyödyllisiä vinkkejä ja kivoja ohjeitakin. Ja kaiken lisäksi tuo kirja näyttää loistavalta.

I have the book now too. Yay for domiknitrix! Fabulous book: lots of useful tips and cute patterns too. Plus the book looks great.

So, I knitted my first real gauge swatch. I've never really bothered before. Somehow I felt inclined after readind the part of the book where Jennifer Stafford writes about swatches and gauge.

I did a little personal swap, and got this wonderful yarn. I have not found this yarn in Finland. I'm going to make a fabulous hat for winter. It's too hot outside though to be knitting it yet.

I really would not mind having more of the yarn...

It's funny to hear you so excited about Red Heart Super Saver, which is considered in the US to be the lowest quality, cheapest yarn available. It does have it's uses but as acrylics go, it's pretty much at the bottom of the ladder. You can buy it off eBay for pennies.

That being said, as long as you are happy with the yarn, who cares!?

Mäki tahtoisin ton kirjan! Mutta makso (muka) niin paljon etten raaskinut.
Ihana ihana lanka muuten. Näköjään mäkin tykkään halvoista jutuista.
