My practical training has kept me busy. But I have done some t-shirt recons. I made a little pouch for my camera out of an old t-shirt that was too small for me. I figured that when you have trouble breathing in a shirt it is time to let it go, and not let it take anymore room in your closet. It is just a drawstring pouch. The fabric is in two layers, so it would offer a little more protection for my camera.

I also made 2 skirts out of t-shirt I bought from a flea market. The shirts cost me 1,20€. So the elastic band actually cost me more than the fabric! The other skirt is a little longer and has black and red stripes. I just couldn't get a decent picture of it.

Melkein unohtu: tein mie myös kämmekkäät (t-paidasta tietenkin). Niistä tuli oikein kivat. Jätin reunat huolittelematta, kun miun mielestä hieman rullaantuva trikoo näyttää kivalta.
Arvaa kellä on uus ja toimiva ompelukone?

Almost forgot: I also made gauntlets (from a t-shirt obviously). I've heard that the cool kids are calling them gauntlets.. They came out nice. I left the edges raw, I like the way the jersey rolls up a bit.
Guess who has a new (working!) sewing machine?

All of your sewing projects look very cool! I totally need to do that with some of the shirts I have in the closet. And yay for a new sewing machine!
Vau. Munkin pitäis harjoitella ompelemista enemmän. Kone löytyy, mutta en ole vielä onnistunut tekemään sillä paljoa muuta kuin lahkeiden lyhennyksiä.
Great recycling work..
